commit/2025 gathered tech leaders, managers and kood/Sisu member companies for a full afternoon focused on the possibilities of AI, the metaverse and new technologies in modern business.
The purpose of the event was to offer practical insights, demonstrate real use cases and create a space where leaders can openly discuss how rapidly evolving technology shapes everyday work, decision-making and long-term strategy.
The day opened with a networking lunch, and once the program started, participants were introduced to the broader themes guiding the event: AI as a catalyst for business growth, metaverse technologies as new enablers for operations and customer experiences, and the increasing need for companies to understand and adopt emerging tools. Our keynote speakers brought these topics to life with concrete examples and experience-based perspectives.
Jukka Isokangas from Elisa walked the audience through Elisa’s AI Showroom and Metaverse Lab, showcasing how automation, AI and immersive technologies are already part of their daily workflows. Pasi Ruotsalainen from Microsoft continued by highlighting how Finnish companies are taking steps toward responsible and ambitious use of AI, grounded in real business outcomes. Finally, Olli-Pekka Inget from Heppu AI shared a case study illustrating the essential connection between technology and sales, demonstrating why even the most advanced solutions need a strong commercial understanding to deliver value.
The program continued with workshops, coffee discussions and a closing panel that encouraged participants to reflect on how these technologies could be applied in their own organizations. Throughout the day, conversations circled back to the same insight: companies are actively looking for new ways to stay competitive, and the gap between experimentation and implementation is narrowing faster than ever.
As this was the first event of its kind for us, it also marked an important point in our development. kood/Sisu’s mission has always been to bridge education, industry needs and real-world technological change, and commit/2025 showed that there is strong demand for deeper, more strategically focused tech events within our network.
