It’s almost here! The Next Selection Sprint begins at 5.5.2025 in kood/Sisu campus, Viestikatu 1.
This year, we are hosting two Sprints. Whereas Kuopio is beautiful and calm in summer, we can already feel the excitement among the next Sprinters. 😉 The upcoming Sprint in May got totally filled up, but don’t worry—the next one is coming up in August. The reservations are now open on our website, so you better act fast!
The August Sprint begins on 4.8.2025.
What is the Selection Sprint actually?
The kood/Sisu application process in our school differentiates a lot from the ordinary. Instead of doing a single exam or course online, you are attending a three-week intense coding period called Selection Sprint, where you figure out if you can handle what the program needs. We are expecting applicants to be interested in coding, initiative problem solvers and open-minded individuals who have skills working in groups. At the same time, we are testing the needed language skills, since the whole program is constructed in English. As said on our website, we expect people to have B2 skills in English according to CEFR.
If you don’t have any previous experience in coding, no worries. All applicants begin at the same level, giving everyone an equal chance to join the program. If you’re considering a career shift, this could be your perfect pathway into the tech industry.

How can I apply?
All the steps for the Sprint application process can be found on our website.
In a nutshell:
1. You have to register and pass the Online Test. ✅
2. Reserve your spot. 👨💻👩💻
3. Attend to Online Check-In. ✈️
4. After that you will get information about the upcoming Sprint.
5. Be there or be square – attend to 3-week Sprint event and pass.
6. Start your studies!
